The kitchen
Cutting edge, yet classically stylish, this all black kitchen oozes attitude. We all know that black is eternally chic, but at times, all dark colour dressings can unintentionally turn your stylish kitchen into an 80s nightclub. Take a leaf out of our clients’ book and vary up the tone with neutral accents, like concrete and plants, to keep the room feeling light and inviting. Another important thing to remember is whether you have enough natural light. Our clients clearly do, with streams of the crisp outdoors reflecting off the matte Maximum benchtops, splashback and Farquhar Kitchens cabinetry.
The bathrooms
The two bathrooms in this home stand in stark contrast of one another. The ensuite is a light, simple space while the main bathroom is a dramatic, futuristic showstopper. The ensuite may be simple, but that isn’t to say it’s boring. Small details, such as the Maximum Statuario veining on the vanity make it contemporary yet timeless.
The main bathroom draws on the latest trends, including matte black, greenery and a cement look, leaving us green (or should we say blue) with envy. An amazing shower screen that frames an even cooler bath is all kept cohesive with pops of matte black on the vanity and hardware. The vanity top, that we manufactured with the ever-stylish euro edge, is the colour ‘Pepper’ by Maximum.
